How to Prepare for Your Appointment

  1.  Please bring a valid form of identification. California state law requires me to record your government-issued ID info.

  2.  Have your payment ready. I accept cash, Zelle, and cards. Cards will have a 3.5% processing fee. If you are paying by cash, please have the right amount. If you are paying by Zelle, please have the app ready and the limit checked before our appointment.

  3.  Get a good night's sleep. The last thing you want is to come in and be completely exhausted for your tattoo session.

  4.  Eat well and stay hydrated. Your body condition leading up to your tattoo session is very important. I recommend that you eat well before you come in, and remember to stay hydrated.

  5.  Please do not drink a day before your appointment. Alcohol can increase bleeding for up to 24 hours. Blood also dilutes the pigments, affecting both the appearance of your tattoo as well as the healing process.

  6.  Please take a shower and shave prior to the appointment.

  7.  Wear the appropriate clothing according to the area of your placement. You can wear short sleeves if you want the tattoo on your arm or shorts if you want it on your legs. If you are planning to get a tattoo on your ribs, please have a nipple patch. Also, the after photos will come out prettier if you wear brighter colored clothes.

  8.  Bring something to entertain yourself. It can get boring if you’re just looking at the ceiling.
